The Ballad of Aigelthin
by Helfor Trod

King Aigelthin travelled across the land,
he discovered the Hawk Hill where he built the Castle.
For he and his folk would no longer be trampled
and they founded the City
— O hop for a day, must the Shadow never walk these
grounds again

Emporium Sariele would be the name,
that would be feared and honoured
by all the children of Lyria.
Eanir will be watching!
— O hop for a day, must the Shadow never walk these
grounds again

The Baerlings build and their numbers grow.
The Tokurans are watching with fear and grief.
For the wisest of them already know,
that war is the only way...
— O hop for a day, must the Shadow never walk these
grounds again

The orcs are rising and Aigelthin reacts!
He gathers his men, and weapons are smithed.
He calls for dwarves and elves, but only a few are
riding.
— O hop for a day, must the Shadow never walk these
grounds again

When the moon had passed, and the sun again,
Aigelthin and allies rides for the orcs.
And no greenskin would survive.
The few who did would flee.
— O hop for a day, must the Shadow never walk these
grounds again

The peace is a deceit and war is on its way,
the Tokurans are riding and the Baerlings
will fight for their freedom.
No strangers may crush these men.
— O hop for a day, must the Shadow never walk these
grounds again

The Tokurans are riding and the Baerlings awaits.
The people of Empo will fight for their rights.
No Tokurans will ever breach their walls.
Blood will be used for paint.
— O hop for a day, must the Shadow never walk these
grounds again

The Tokurans lay siege and the Baerlings awaits.
Nothing can breach the walls of Empo Sar,
The Tokurans fight and fight for their lives,
The women of Kraan are crying.
— O hop for a day, must the Shadow never walk these
grounds again

Day in and out the Tokurans attack,
their numbers never seem to shrink.
Aigelthin watch them all from his throne.
Yet a day and two they fight.
— O hop for a day, must the Shadow never walk these
grounds again

The towers are breached, but the wall still holds on.
The Baerlings fight and struggle for their lives.
"O Aigelthin, please help us now.
We need your strength to win."
— O hop for a day, must the Shadow never walk these
grounds again

The towers are breached, but the wall still holds on.
The Tokurans advance, killing all on their way.
"O Aigelthin, do you give up? Soon the walls are
breached,
and you'll no longer rule."
— O hop for a day, must the Shadow never walk these
grounds again

After days of battle Aigelthin interfere.
The Baerlings fight the Tokurans

But boy I'll tell you he beat them
