Spirit: the Lone Element is the work of the infamous Malieran scholar and wizard Lerith Miratus. For larger parts of his life Lerith Miratus studied the element spirit in the elven city Leithe Falum and documented most of his findings in this book. The book is very old and only small fragments of it are readable, hence much of its content has been lost to time.
If you want to know its contents you'll have to find it yourself, I do not want to spoil this quest.
